Cal North District 4 is located in the East Bay area of Northern California and includes the eastern edge of the San Francisco Bay: Alameda, Walnut Creek, Castro Valley, Southern Alameda County, West Contra Costa County, Lamorinda, Vallejo, Delta, Benicia, Oakland, Hayward, Diablo Valley, Mount Diablo & Martinez. Cal North affiliated leagues in District IV offer soccer year round - traditional fall leagues, several rapidly growing spring leagues, and a summer league.
The District Administration is composed of a dedicated group of volunteers working together to offer new and better opportunities for youth soccer.
District 4 teams participate in all Cal North programs.
District 4 leagues represent all levels of skill including recreation and development, competitive and premier. Many of our District 4 teams participate in statewide tournaments and programs such as the State and Association Cup, the Olympic Development Program, and the State Playing League, CCSL and CNPC.
The number of registered youth players in District 4 has more than doubled. This amount of growth presents significant issues in an area with overdeveloped real estate.
Most league play is recreational, and teams may participate in more than one league. Competitive teams play in leagues outside of District 4.
