In-Person courses are hosted by a group, league or club, and are scheduled through your State Association. All courses will be taught by an approved US Soccer Coaching Instructor. All coaches must register and pay for the In-person course through the DCC.
The 11v11 In-Person Course is a four-hour course that builds on the principles covered in U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module. Specifically, candidates will learn more about U.S. Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Education Philosophy, Play-Practice-Play Methodology, the Six Tasks of a Coach, and the characteristics of players aged 13 and older. The course will also ask each candidate to reflect on their experiences to develop action steps for personal growth. The IP 11v11 is required for those wishing to take the D License course.
- In order to register for the 11v11 In-Person Course, candidates must have completed U.S. Soccer’s Introduction to Grassroots Coaching module.
