The entry fee is $525.

Venue locations will be published soon.

Space is limited and brackets will be filled on a first-applied-first-accepted basis. Applications are considered complete once the online registration and payment in full have been received in the Cal North office.

  1. Sharrie Sprouse says:

    Hello –

My Assist. Coach and I were curious why U10 and U12 brackets are not available?
Are there other tournament opportunities for U10 boys?

    1. Kathi Killion, Cal North Programs Coordinator says:

Hi Sharrie – U10 and U12 play in the small sided format and are included in the Founders’ Division of U9-U12 State Cup. The link to that page is https://calnorth.org/apply-u9-u12-state-cup/ .

  2. Cheryl Collett says:

We may be interested in the Founders cup for our u14B rec team. After talking with some coaches today, I heard that there have been competitive players allowed to play in this tournament. Can you tell me the process for who is allowed to play? Are the players required to have Recreational passes in order to play? Is that enforced? We are a Rec team and are not interested in playing against comp teams.

    1. Kathi Killion, Cal North Programs Coordinator says:

Cheryl – Founders’ Cup rules specifically prohibit any player who was rostered on a team that participated in a Cal North or any other USSF affiliated organization’s sanctioned played league for Competitive teams in the current seasonal year. Unless there is a bona fide reason for a player to move from a competitive team roster to a recreational team and the teams League President and District Commissioner OK the exception, any player who was on a competitive team roster during the 2017/2018 season is ineligible to participate in Founders’ Cup.
