2018 Executive Committee Elections

With the US missing out on World Cup 2018, many people in the soccer community are asking: “What can be done so this doesn’t happen again?”

Here’s your opportunity to help find answers and implement solutions. If you are passionate about soccer, have leadership experience and believe you can help improve youth soccer in Northern California, please consider volunteering your time and talents in one of the following Cal North Board of Director positions:

  • Chairman – presides over all meetings of the Board, leads the Board in the fulfillment of its responsibilities and acts as the primary liaison between the Board and the Association’s Executive Director to ensure the Board’s directives and resolutions are carried out.
  • Second Vice Chair – responsible for governance, strategy and oversight of the Association’s coaching, recreation, referee, Olympic Development and TOPSoccer programs.
  • Chief Financial Officer – responsible for governance, strategy and oversight of the Association’s accounting, budgeting, cash flow, finance and investments.

The Cal North Board of Directors is the governing body of one of the largest youth soccer organizations in the country. The Cal North Board typically meets 6-8 times per year to work on the organization’s mission, strategy and goals as well as address other issues as needed. Each position serves a two-year term and is non-compensated.
