On Wednesday, Governor Newsom declared a “State of Emergency” in California after the state’s first Coronavirus-related (COVID 19) death.  Citing the action taken by the Governor, as well as actions taken by many groups and corporations to postpone travel and large group gatherings, the Cal North Board met to review options related to  its upcoming dinner, workshop and AGM.

The Cal North Board of Directors elected to postpone the upcoming Cal North Presidents’ Workshop, Hall of Fame Dinner and the Annual General Meeting on March 14-15, 2020, at the Pleasanton Marriott out of an abundance of caution for the evolving public health risks due to Coronavirus.  All events will be rescheduled for a future date.

If the workshops, dinner and annual meeting has been postponed, why wouldn’t the same logic apply to games that involve lots of children and parents in close proximity?

    1. Hi Mike, Apologies for the delayed reply. We created this area to keep track of the quickly evolving situation: https://calnorth.org/content/category/covid-19/

      I hope it helps.
