Cal North Hires Kevin Crow as Technical Director for Soccer
The California Youth Soccer Association (Cal North) has named Kevin Crow as its new Technical Director for Soccer. Crow, the former Executive and Technical Director for the Ballistic United Soccer Club, adds 25 years of soccer and business development experience to the association. He will report directly to Executive Director Ben Jay.
“This is an exciting time for our association hiring a proven talent in Kevin Crow. This demonstrates a positive commitment by our youth soccer association to support our member leagues and clubs with their coach and player development programs to be one of the best in the country,” said Ben Jay.
Crow brings a unique mix of industry and responsibility ranging from playing professional soccer for 10 years, being a 2-time Olympian, and US Men’s National Soccer Team member, President, Vice President, General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and most recently as Executive and Technical Director of the Ballistic United Soccer Club since 2009.
At Ballistic United, Crow established the overall vision and way of playing for the club, curriculum development, coach license and continuing education unit (CEU) program, player development pathways, sponsorships, staff development, tournaments and special events.

Crow will begin to get engaged in the technical aspects of Cal North through reaching out to clubs and leagues to build relationships, understand the environment and goals while collaborating in the development and implementation of player development, coaching development, and technical strategic plans. In this position, Crow will also serve as a valuable resource on all Cal North program matters.
