On Saturday, March 14, Cal North Soccer will be hosting a series of Workshops at the Pleasanton Marriott in Pleasanton, Calif.

This is an interactive event that provides opportunities for administrators, presidents, and DOCs to network through coaching and administrative workshops.

For the last 20 years, Cal North has provided workshops for Coaches, League Board members and Registrars free of charge. We encourage all league presidents, and DOC’s to attend.

The event will begin on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. PT with two workshops — Referees – Growth & Retention, Good Practices and Development presented by CNRA in meeting room one, and Emotional Intelligence in Coaching presented by Skye Eddy Bruce, Soccer Parenting Association in meeting room two.

Meeting room one is dedicated to league presidents and administrators while meeting room two is dedicated to coaches and DOCs. Each session throughout the day held in the meeting rooms will be 50 minutes long.

The day will end with two more sessions starting at 4 p.m. PT and will run for one hour. These sessions are a panel discussion on Building Futsal in Northern California (meeting room one) and a session on the California Regional League presented by Kevin Crow, Cal North Technical Director and Ben Jay, Cal North Executive Director (meeting room two).

Following the workshops, Cal North will have its annual Hall of Fame Awards Banquet, honoring coaches, youth referees, and volunteers from the State, as well as induct the newest Hall of Fame member, John Murphy.
