      Lawrence "Larry" Boldrini was one of the four founding fathers of the Ballistic United Soccer Club over 50 years ago.

      Mr. B as he was known by the legions of players that were fortunate to play under his tutelage, was the Under-19 coach for Ballistic for years.

      Along the way Mr. B coached two Ballistic teams to Cal North State Cup titles, with the last coming in 1978. That team included current Ballistic Technical Director, Kevin Crow.

      On top of the BUSC HOF, Mr. B was also honored by the Tri-Valley Sports Hall of Fame.

      Larry was instrumental in starting a men’s team so Ballistic players that had aged out of youth soccer had a place to play, and one year coached that team to the Northern California Amateur Championship.

      Mr. B passed July 7, 2016, at the age of 90.
