Cal North and WorldStrides Sports partner for upcoming Barcelona International ODP trip

      Northern California (February 14, 2025) – Cal North and WorldStrides Sports are excited to partner for the upcoming 2025 Barcelona International Friendlies taking place April 12th thru the 20th. 

      This will mark the second international trip between Cal North and WorldStrides Sports in three years, the first one being a successful trip to Australia for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. You can watch that video series here.

      The upcoming trip to Barcelona will however; be one of a kind experience for both Cal North and WorldStrides Sports. For this trip specifically, Cal North will be taking four ODP teams, 2011 and 2012 Boys & Girls. The itinerary is filled with not only international games & trainings for the ODP teams, but also a cultural and culinary experience in Barcelona, including a day trip to Sitges and attending a professional game. Friends and family from ODP players will joining on this international adventure as well.

      Cal North has a long history of developing some of the best players in the country. As part of the Cal North ODP model, international trips play an important role in the development of players as they face off against international opposition in unfamiliar settings, challenging their growth.

"Just last month Cal North won two Far West ODP Championships in Arizona. It's all part of the holistic player's development and international trips push them forward that much more both on and off the field."
