SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Friday, April 18, 2025) - Cal North Soccer is excited to announce the appointment of Devon Yoakam as the new Business Operations Manager. In this important role, Yoakam will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Cal North, including managing key areas such as finance, human resources, marketing, and member services. He will work to streamline processes and implement best practices that align with the organization’s mission, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization.
Yoakam brings a broad background in business operations, management, and strategic development to Cal North. He has held leadership roles at prominent organizations, including TOCA Football as National Director of Product and Sofive Soccer Centers as National Director of Sales & Marketing. In these roles, he demonstrated a consistent ability to drive revenue growth, improve operational performance, and lead teams effectively across departments. His experience spans both sports-related organizations and other industries, where he successfully managed organizational change, fostered collaboration, and delivered strong business results.
Yoakam holds a degree in Business and Economics from Arizona State University and is also certified by the US Soccer Federation, holding a B Coaching License. Additionally, his experience in various playing and coaching roles further enriches his understanding of the game of soccer and its impact on youth development, making him a valuable asset to Cal North.

As Business Operations Manager, Yoakam will be integral in overseeing the organization’s daily functions and ensuring the smooth operation of Cal North’s various departments. He will collaborate closely with staff to improve efficiency, enhance member engagement, and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the organization. His leadership will be key to strengthening internal processes and maintaining a strong, positive relationship with Cal North’s members and partners.
