SACRAMENTO, CA (October 22, 2021) - We are very pleased to announce a formal partnership between Cal North Referee Administration (CNRA) and Cal North Soccer Association for the upcoming 2021-2022 Cups and Tournaments. This partnership will serve the game in Northern California by providing growth in our referee pool, identifying young referees and using the events as training opportunities for new & existing referees and mentors. As a result, Cal North Cups & Tournaments will benefit from improved officiating for major competitions such as Cal North State Cup, Cal North Presidents Cup and Cal North Association Cup.
Cal North has partnered with Pro-Am Beach Soccer (PABS) to bring you the first-ever state association Beach Soccer State Cup in Northern California. The tournament will take place on a traditional tournament weekend when teams are free from their regular-season schedules on September 25 & 26, 2021. Any team, whether a member of Cal North or not, will be allowed to participate in this sanctioned event in age pure groups ranging from 9u-19u as well as Men’s Open, Women’s Open, and Adult Coed. This makes it a very unique offering not only because it’s beach soccer, but it will crown State Champions in all age groups.
The Two Groups Will Work Together to Provide Education and Guidance to Youth Soccer Clubs and Parents
PLEASANTON, Calif. — The California Youth Soccer Association and MOJO are proud to announce a first-in-the-nation partnership to put the magic back into youth sports by providing coaches, clubs and teams across Northern California with a one-stop coach-in-a-box mobile app that takes the aggravation and chaos out of coaching.
