New strategic partnership delivers the latest player evaluation technology to Cal North’s Olympic Development Program and network of 132 member clubs.
Pleasanton, CA (June 17, 2020) – Cal North Chairman, Larry Svetich is pleased to announce that Cal North has partnered with TeamGenius, the leading athlete evaluation app for tryouts, feedback, and player development.
With this new partnership, Cal North will leverage TeamGenius’ innovative athlete evaluation tools for Olympic Development roster selection and athlete evaluations. This also provides an opportunity for member clubs to implement the technology to aid in accomplishing their own tryout & player development goals.
"We are excited to be partnering with TeamGenius! Their software technology will help elevate our ODP registration, player evaluation, and final team selection for our ODP program,” said Cal North Technical Director Kevin Crow. “I would encourage ALL clubs in Cal North to give them a call and learn how their platform can help elevate your club try out and player review experience."
TeamGenius player evaluation software will be used to evaluate, roster, and provide feedback for Cal North Olympic Development Program (ODP) coaches and players. The switch to digital evaluations will provide huge time savings and organization to Cal North, and give coaches the ability to share player development progress at any time during the process.
“Cal North has always been a leader in youth soccer programming, perfectly balancing a kids-first approach with high-quality competitive programs for top-level players,” said Chris Knutson, CEO of TeamGenius. “We are excited to support their Olympic Development Program as well as bring better evaluations to their network of member clubs through this partnership. Technology is going to continue driving the future of youth soccer and player development, and it’s a pleasure to work with an organization like Cal North who “gets it”.
