      Cal North State Cup

      Your first step in the road to the US Youth Soccer National Championships!

      Cal North State Cup is the designated state-level qualifier for the US Youth Soccer Far West Regionals and the first step on the road to the US Youth Soccer National Championships. State Cup champions will advance to Regionals which will take place in early summer with the chance to qualify for US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. It is open to teams registered through a Cal North affiliated member organization that competes in an approved playing league at the high-level Silver, Gold, Premier or Elite level. Teams are considered for placement in brackets based on their eligibility and application date until brackets are filled. State Cup offers brackets for boys and girls in the U9-U19 age groups.

      U13-U19 State Cup champions will advance to Regionals which will take place in early summer with the chance to qualify for US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. U12 Champions will advance to the Far West Presidents Cup. State Cup is open to teams registered through a Cal North affiliated member organization that competes in a District Cup or an approved Cal North competition.

      Teams are considered for placement in brackets based on their eligibility and application date until brackets are filled. State Cup offers brackets for boys and girls in the U9-U19 age groups. (*U9-U11 do not advance into a regional competition)

      Level Of Play

      State Cup competition is created for the top-level competitive teams and we recommend only top-tier competitive teams apply for this program. Premier, Gold, or Elite level recommended.

      Open To

      Teams must be registered with a Cal North member in order to be accepted. If not already registered, Cal North can guide you through the registration process. The team’s playing league requirement can only be fulfilled by playing in Cal North approved league.

      Approved playing leagues are only Cal North leagues affiliated through US Soccer, including  to Cal North's CCSL.

      Under 9 - Under 19  boys and girls.

      U9-U12 : Dec 14 & 15, 2024

      U13-U19: April 26 & 27, 2025

      2025 US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Tournaments

      2025 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup will take place June 13-17, 2025. U12 Cal North State Cup Champions will qualify for this event.

      2025 US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships will take place June 20-25, 2025. U13-U19 Cal North State Cup Champions will qualify for this event.

      Location for both tournaments will be Simplot Sports Complex in Boise, Idaho.
