PLEASANTON, Calif. (October 28, 2023) - The first ever Cal North TOPSoccer Festival took place on Saturday, October 28th at Ken Mercer Sports Park in Pleasanton, CA.
TOPSoccer - The Outreach Program For Soccer is a community-based recreational program designed for participants of all ages with intellectual, emotional, and/or physical disabilities. The program uses a volunteer buddy system and strives to provide soccer opportunities for all players in a safe, fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.
This was the first year Cal North hosts this festival and the response couldn't have been better. TOPSoccer players from various clubs in Northern California came and participated in the different stations that were set-up.
Those clubs included Ballistic United Soccer Club, Pleasanton RAGE Girls Soccer Club, Walnut Creek SC, Castro Valley, Livermore Fusion among others.
